Chislehurst Caves

These caves are a labyrinth of man-made tunnels originally dug for chalk and flint. The caves became a massive air raid shelter during WW2, protecting over 15,000 people. In the 1950s, 60s and 70s concerts were held here including Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones and David Bowie. After touring the caves, we’ll enjoy a pub lunch nearby.
